This is an amazing open source hexapod spider robot that allows anyone to build their own walking robot with no prior knowledge of robotics. It was designed by Adeept to help both beginners and more advanced robot enthusiasts enter the exciting world of robotics. The robot kit includes everything you need to assemble and start having fun with your very own hexapod robot!
Easy to assemble
An illustrated PDF manual is available, which will teach you how to build your hexapod robot step by step. You will be able to assemble the frame (the high-quality acrylic body), the fasteners that make up the robot body, and the custom printed circuit board with the pre-programmed controller, the ultrasonic range sensor, and the ESP8266 WiFi module.
Intuitive development
We developed a Python-based human-computer interaction graphical user interface and an Android application for this robot, so you can quickly learn how to use it. The robot and the application are linked via WiFi. You can also control the robot through the APP.
